Does Your Dog Nail Obedience at Home but Struggle with Distractions Outside?

We’ve all been there — your dog is perfect in the living room, or even for walks around the neighborhood, but once you're out in public, their focus seems to disappear!

At A Canine Understanding, we've developed a training program that elevates your dog’s skills by addressing real-world distractions in an urban environment. This program also offers you expert guidance on how to effectively handle situations where your dog's manners may need improvement, ensuring they shine in any setting.

What’s Different About This Course?

Unlike traditional group training classes held in the same indoor location each week, our program offers a dynamic approach. Each session takes place at a new, exciting location around the city, providing the perfect opportunity for your dog to learn how to focus, respond to commands, and maintain good manners in diverse environments. We’ll navigate through distractions, unexpected situations, and the unique dynamics of each location. Along the way, you'll gain valuable insights on how to communicate more effectively with your dog, fostering trust and strengthening your bond. By the end of the course, you and your dog will have the chance to test for the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification—an esteemed credential that demonstrates your ability to handle public settings with confidence.
